PSA: 🤔 YOUR BUDGET AND YOUR EXPECTATIONS HAVE TO MATCH.
There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with having a budget.

Whether you're planning a wedding, quinceañera, birthday, anniversary, corporate event, proposal or backyard celebration—you should know how much you're comfortable spending.
But here's where we sometimes run into trouble:
You can't have diamond-event expectations on a beer budget.
If your budget is your #1 priority, that's okay! We work backward from that number. We prioritize what's most important, simplify where necessary, reduce services, make substitutions, DIY some things, or adjust the overall scope of the event.
But if the experience and services are your #1 priority—the elaborate décor, professional setup and breakdown, staffing, coordination, entertainment, catering, photography, specialty rentals, etc.—then your budget has to reflect the cost of providing those things.
It really comes down to three things:
💰 BUDGET — What can you spend?
✨ EXPECTATIONS — What do you want your event to look and feel like?
🛠️ SCOPE — What products, services and labor will it take to make that happen?
If the budget can't move, the scope has to.
If the scope can't move, the budget has to.
A professional event planner isn't there to shame you for your budget. We're there to help you determine what is realistically possible within it and how to get the most value from every dollar you spend.
You can absolutely create a beautiful event on a smaller budget.
Just make sure your budget and your expectations are attending the same event. 😉
