Workplace Policies & Standards

Our Commitment
Lone Star Events is committed to maintaining a professional, respectful, and safe working environment for employees, independent contractors, event staff, volunteers, clients, and guests.

Equal Opportunity

We provide opportunities based on qualifications, experience, reliability, and business needs. We do not tolerate unlawful discrimination or harassment.

Professional Conduct

All team members are expected to:

  • Treat clients, guests, and coworkers with respect.

  • Maintain professional language and behavior.

  • Follow event schedules and instructions.

  • Arrive on time and prepared for assigned duties.

  • Represent the company professionally in person and online.

Workplace Safety

Safety is a priority at every event.

  • Follow venue safety requirements.

  • Report hazards immediately.

  • Use equipment only as instructed.

  • Follow emergency procedures when necessary.

Drug & Alcohol Policy

Team members may not report to work under the influence of illegal drugs or alcohol.
Any individual whose behavior creates a safety concern may be removed from an event assignment.

Harassment-Free Workplace

Harassment, intimidation, bullying, threats, or inappropriate conduct toward clients, guests, vendors, or team members will not be tolerated.

Confidentiality

Employees and contractors may have access to client information, event details, pricing, and business operations. Confidential information should not be shared without authorization.

Social Media & Photography

Photos and videos taken during events may be used for marketing purposes unless restricted by client agreement. Team members should not post client information or private event details without permission.

Attendance & Reliability

Because events are time-sensitive, attendance and punctuality are essential. Excessive no-shows, late arrivals, or last-minute cancellations may affect future assignments.

Independent Contractor Notice

Many event positions may be performed by independent contractors. Nothing on this website creates an employment contract or guarantees future assignments.
